BGA Governance

Our vision and mission

The British Grooms Association is governed by a Board of Directors whose purpose is to ensure that as a professional association we are effective in working towards achieving our vision, using our resources to maximum effect and upholding our core ethos and values.

Our Vision -  Striving to achieve greater career recognition, status and good employment for grooms within the equestrian industry.

Our Mission - To promote, support and educate the career and professionalism of grooms.

The Board’s role and functions are laid out in the Articles of the Association which set out our rules of governance. The Board meets at four times a year and works towards achieving our Strategic Plan.

EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY

The BGA is committed to make all aspects of our work and support for members open to anyone who wishes to be involved in whatever capacity, and to actively encourage a more diverse equestrian yard workforce.
